About United Kennel Club India

Our mission

United Kennel Club India (UKCI / INKC) keeps breed records for dogs and cats in India. We certify individual animals, register litters and maintain a permanent pedigree database, so that breeders can prove their lines and buyers can trust the papers they are given.

What we do

• Certification of individual dogs and cats, linked to a microchip and issued with a QR-verifiable certificate.
• Litter registration, recording sire, dam and every puppy or kitten born.
• Pedigree records across generations, available to owners through the Breeder Portal.
• Public verification, so anyone can check a certificate before buying a pet.
• Shows organised with our network of affiliated clubs.

Responsible breeding

Every certificate is reviewed by our registrars, who check documents and microchip numbers before anything is issued. Certificates found to be incorrect are revoked, and the public verification page always shows a certificate's current status.
